Save by Your Name O God
And rescue me from strife;
Send me Your strength and hear my prayer
Come vindicate my life.
Give ear to these my words,
For strangers to Your ways
Have sought to undermine my work
By darkening my days.
Oppression is their goal
In idleness they wait;
Closed to redemption of Your world,
Theonomy they hate.
The Lord supplies His help
In guise of faithful friends,
Who with me stand upon Your word
And help me it defend.
God’s name will be my song;
His truth my tongue will praise,
For I have seen my heart’s desire
Upon my enemies!
