Send to me Your mercies, Lord,
Sure tokens of salvation;
I will take You at Your word,
Forbearing man’s reproaches.
Counting all that You’ve revealed
More than fickle thoughts of men,
I won’t be bewitched again
By ‘scientific’ hoaxes!
I shall walk in all Your Law
With liberty and freedom,
Speaking of Your truth before
Great princes in their kingdom.
Meditating on Your laws,
Finding purpose and delight,
Doing only what is right,
My heart will grow in wisdom.
