The mighty hands of Christ
Which formed and fashioned me
Must renovate my mind
If I would clearly see.
Then friends who fear
The Lord with me
Will happy be
When I draw near
In faithfulness I know
That You’ve afflicted me;
Your judgments are designed
To help my eyes to see
How you forgive,
O gracious Lord.
Teach me Your word
That I might live.
Let all the rebel proud
Be publically ashamed,
For they have wrongfully
And craftily me blamed.
Let all who know
Your holy law
To me withdraw
And wisdom show.
