Those who depend upon the Lord,
Like Zion stand secure;
That mighty rock, which none can move,
Stands firm forever more.
As hills surround Jerusalem,
So God surrounds His saints;
Nothing shall touch them here without
His own express consent.
Unrighteous laws will not remain
Across these barren lands;
They’ll be replaced in earth’s new dawn
With all that God commands.
Bless those, O Lord, who love Your laws,
Whose hearts and minds are wise;
Let peace and truth grow in Your world
And banish wayward eyes!
