Gospel Tract
- 1 August 2012
The universe is a PERSONAL place. God is its Creator. Not surprisingly therefore God communicates with us in personal terms which we can readily understand. The Bible is described as Holy Scripture for it bears all the hallmarks of divine authorship. The best scholars and the noblest human beings testify to its greatness but the Bible requires no such ‘formal witness’. It testifies itself of its unique authority. As the Word of God it stands over and above all speculative human authority. Read or spoken, the Bible’s message is clear to all who apprehend it with a penitent and willing spirit. God speaks through it to all who diligently care about their plight in this world and who care to know just what’s going on. To such, Christ says, ‘Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.’ (Matt 7:7). This tract may be useful to you as an evangelist starting out or even as a a (rightly!) unsettled enquirer.
