When at last Leviathan
By the Lord is slain
Peace in every tribe and tongue
Evermore shall reign
“I every moment
Sanctify my servant!
Seekers of refuge
Shall be overcome!”
In that day God’s noble vine,
Kept with holy care,
Shall bring forth the reddest wine
Made of fruit most rare
Fools in confusion
Overlook their Maker;
Duped by delusion
God will pass them by…
In that day an eastern wind
Idols shall subdue;
Scattered, one by one, he’ll find
Saints His will to do!
