Prayer is asking, expectantly,
God to give us abundantly
Things He’s promised repeatedly,
When in Christ’s name we beseech Him.
He’s promised to give us new life and salvation;
He’s promised to mend and establish each nation
Till all that has breath in the whole of creation
Is filled with His glory and grace!
