Psalter manuscript

Psalm 20: When troubled circumstances fill your eye

This text will be replaced

When troubled circumstances fill your eye,
May Jacob’s God see every tear you cry!
Some trust in chariots – stallions swift and strong,
But we depend on Jesus, God’s own Son;
Save us Mighty One!

May He help from the sanctuary send;
May He from tyranny our lives defend!
Some trust in chariots – stallions swift and strong,
But we depend on Jesus, God’s own Son;
Save us O Mighty One!

May He the beauty of your worship see;
May you become at last what you should be!
Some trust in chariots – stallions swift and strong,
But we depend on Jesus, God’s own Son;
Save us O Mighty One!

May He, according to your heart’s desire,
Supply the vital things which you require.
Some trust in chariots – stallions swift and strong,
But we depend on Jesus, God’s own Son;
Save us O Mighty One!

The Lord His servants saves with His right hand;
Though they are fallen they upright shall stand!
Some trust in chariots – stallions swift and strong,
But we depend on Jesus, God’s own Son;
Save us O Mighty One!
