To my Lord, so spoke Jehovah,
‘Sit at my right hand and rule
Till your enemies, defeated,
Are become Your foot-rest stool’
Magnify, O God, Your power
Here before all rebel fools!
When Christ Jesus’ might and glory
To the nations are revealed,
Volunteers shall each completely
Strength and youthful vigour yield;
Sanctified in radiant beauty
They with all things shall be healed.
Under solemn indignation
Godless kings will be condemned;
Valleys filled with rebel corpses
Will lament their bitter end.
Lift the heads Lord, of the humble
So Your reign and rule extend!
