Those who wait upon the Lord
Shall their waning strength renew
They shall rise with eagles’ wings
To the work they do!
Ever keen to run the race
Swiftly, they will never slow;
Weariness, as they press on,
They will never know!
Christian have you never heard
To the feeble God supplies
Potency for He the Lord
Made the starry skies!
God the everlasting Lord
Is the Maker of all things;
Let us therefore rest beneath
His majestic wings.
