I really enjoyed making this track which features the voice of my elderly friend, Dr Norman Cross whom I endeavour to visit most weeks. He’s a stalwart saint whose conversation is always helpful and seasoned with salt. The words from Ecclesiastes 12 describe the twilight years of life which Norman has become increasingly accustomed to. May the Lord give you grace dear brother to bear with all the difficulty with fortitude and patience. My time will come.
