# Question Answer
101 What is the tenth commandment? The tenth commandment is, Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
102 What does the tenth commandment teach us? To be content with our lot.

God’s commandment, the very last one,
Says a very hard thing to me;
It calls to my heart and it calls to my mind
Saying, ‘Hey, contented be!’
Yet a thousand things not mine I see
That trigger my jealousy –
“Sonny’s summer coat and his bonny new boat
Would do just fine for me!” –
Yes, a thousand things not mine I see
Which covetous make me be!
