Who, pray tell me, is to be
Baptised as Christ’s disciple?
Christians and their infant seed
According to the Bible!

How do children qualify?
They’ve a sinful nature!
Thus the Scriptures justify
Their need of Christ as Saviour!

Is there but a single text
Where Jesus plainly teaches
‘Children to His Church be fetched;
To them His promise reaches’?

“Suffer little children come;
They are not forbidden
Truly such to Me belong
As minors in God’s kingdom!”
