Tough Questions for Evangelicals – the Answers!

For those who were bold enough to read my recent post concerning ‘Tough Questions for Evangelicals’, I offer here my own quickly drafted answers to the same questions. I’m of course keen to hear from anyone who thinks my answers are naive or simplistic. I don’t wish to arouse any unnecessary alarm nor disquiet, but these issues are not going to go away. Alas, most contemporary Christians are like the proverbial ostrich burying its head in the sand. To borrow another metaphor, these matters are somewhat like an elephant in the sitting room. How long must you tip-toe around the subject before you fall down on your knees and beg God for His mercy & grace?
