The princes of the world unite
To persecute the Way;
But I have trusted in the light
And heed the things You say.
Your word is wonderful to me,
More valuable than gold,
It makes my feeble heart rejoice
When lifeless, still and cold,

Deceitful tongues and lying lips
You know, Lord, I abhor;
But seven times a day I praise
The judgements of Your law.
Great is the peace that I have known
Proclaiming Your decrees;
I’ll never stumble when I walk
Or fall upon my knees,
Or fall upon my knees.
I hope for Your salvation Lord,
And do what You command;
With joyfulness I execute
The duties You demand.
Though sin be often at my heels,
And I at times am blind,
I know You comprehend my thoughts
And read my troubled mind,
