Why won’t you
Execute
Judgement
In the morning?
Years of grief
With no relief
Mark countless
Of your brethren!
Very soon God’s fury, like a fire,
Will consume the stubble tares as tinder in the field
Then at last the hypocrite and liar
Shall no more behind ‘fake news’ from pulpits be concealed!
Behold your evil doings; don’t you see
The forfeiture of equity and justice in the court?
You harbour in your hearts complacency
Imagining you’re safe within your ‘evan-jelly-fort’!
