Psalm 119 – ZAYIN: When I recall Your word to me

Resources

When I recall Your word to me
Upon which I depend –
My comfort in adversity,
More sure than any friend –
The rebel proud don’t seem so loud;
I see their bitter end.

Your mighty judgments from of old
Console and comfort me;
Great wickedness my eyes behold
While rarely do I see
An appetite for righteous laws –
Authentic liberty!

Let holy truth be set to song,
By noble minds and hands,
That weary pilgrims, working for
God’s kingdom in their lands,
Might sing each night of truth and light
Found in Your just commands.
