Psalter manuscript

Grace and Glory (Revelation 15:3-4)

Resources

Grace and glory,
In deeds of the Lord God Almighty,
Cry out every day in earth’s story
Where justice and truth are portrayed;

All who fear You,
Who hallow Your Name and draw near You,
Will lift up their hearts and revere You
For all You to them have displayed!

They’ll marvel at the wonders of Your endeavours
To call together multitudes from all lands;
You’ve revealed to us the purpose of our labours:
To lead us to Jesus and keep His commands!

This short song MUST be important.  It is introduced as the great song of the redeemed ‘who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands.  And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying….etc.’ (Rev 15:2-3)

The tune is plundered from 1977 – When I need you, sung beautifully by a youthful Leo Sayer.  See here.  Need the piano/guitar chords?   Write and ask me.  It’s dead easy tune but haunting and most effective!
