Faced with rebel blindness,
Pray I’d be
Filled with holy boldness.
Plead for me the Spirit’s utterance,
That to stony hardened-hearts within my audience
I’d make known
Solemn gospel mystery,
Till they’re drawn
To the Lord of history!
